Poor Spenc-a-roni

Our little Spencer was so brave last week. He had his circumcision surgery. We woke him up before 6 am and got him in the car without any crying from him even though he hadn't had any food or water. (He loves his food.) We didnt' get into surgery until after 8 am and he was such a good sport. After he was pretty upset when he saw me (thinking I was part of the bad guys) but calmed down when Blake came in. (What?!) He had a pretty good recovery and was mostly happy. We are lucky to have an even-tempered little guy. I am so happy the surgery is over with. It was stressing me out since they had to anesthetize him, but everything was fine. What kid wouldn't't be happy getting to play in fun cars while waiting for a surgery. No, the pink scrubs were not my idea. Playing with the mask (he got strawberry flavored chapstick inside to make it smell good.) Blake even set up a facebook account while we waited. He is now one of us. ha! I took some pictures for my sister for Christmas. She has such an adorable family. We totally love them! Plus, she has great hair and I am totally jealous that I didn't end up with it! Since I've finally gotten my house organized/decorated/cleaned how I like, Hailey and I have had more time to do some crafty things. (PS. I only had to ignore the kids for a week and I am feeling much better now!) She made this turkey and it now hangs proudly on our door. She has been able to make some fun things at preschool too and even has a pilgrim hat to wear on Thanskgiving. I love her creative juices.

Fun Visit

Blake's brother, Spencer and his girlfriend, Kellie came and visited for a few days. We had a great time with them. They were so helpful with the kids, especially at church. If only, we had a couple to help us every week! Ha, in fact, Blake and I say any people who don't have kids with them at church should be required to help those who have kids. Then all of us will be learning the same amount during church.....nothing.=) Anyway, we got some great shopping in, went to Town Square Mall (thanks for babysitting, Sarah), enjoyed a marathon of The Office and of course, Blake and Spencer played computer games. We love them and hope to have fun with them again soon! This is at the Bellagio flower gardends. It smelled amazing!! I have never seen it so pretty. They had talking trees, huge pumpkins and so many different flowers. Now I have to go see it for Christmas too. If you have time, you should check it out before it switches. Yes, those are our kids, not Kellie and Spencer...
