Spring is Life Part 3 (May)

William's preschool class took care of caterpillars and let the butterflies go free.  He has the greatest teacher, Mrs. Weber. Lots of plants growing by the sink. Soccer with church friends again. It's fun to set this up every year.  Everyone is so happy to get out in the sun! Brooke and Spencer really got into it this year. It was fun to see them grow. I love these kinds of flowers!  I call them Dr. Seuss flowers. I went on a field trip with Brooke and loved spending time with her. Brooke reading like crazy! William enjoying my Mother's Day hammock. He had more time in it than I did! William at preschool graduation.  He said when he grows up he wants to be "a dad".  So sweet. He was the first one to speak and I was so proud of him for not being scared. Sweet little set up. I love running by this one. Can't say Brooke is OCD. Blake got this lawn sweeper at an estate sale across the street.  The kids love ...

I love our memories (April)

We went to church for something and I noticed Brooke had put lipstick on.  Funny, pretty girl. The boys have started sharing books and hanging out in the back together with books. Warms my heart. For April Foods Day, I played a joke on the kids.  It was funny and I can't remember what I did now!  I think something with toothpaste.  It was funny for me! Then the kids got revenge on me and April Fools joked me by toilet papering the front room and changing the time on the clock. Such a gorgeous and long sky.   The kids created a conference fort and had a great time with it. Conference bingo I was having a grumpy day when William wanted to go outside in the rain. I went with him and we ended up having a great time and cured my bad mood. Lucky to have this kid around! New plants So nice to ride bikes again. Brooke read the most minutes in her class for a week and won a reward. Yay! We went on our one on one date...

Since I have gotten a year behind on the blog, I will have to try hard to remember why I took all these pictures!!  William and I planted some daffodils in the fall and were so happy when they came up! Now to multiply them. I planted some more hydrangeas. I just love them so much! They smell so good and last so long and are so pretty.  Plus, they can grow tall enough and hide the ugly concrete behind them! I dug up some plants from my friend Camille's house and planted them around our tree out front.  I wasn't sure which plants they were so that was a fun surprise. I moved some stuff around eventually. Pretty popcorn trees! William and I went on a little walk after preschool one day. It was so beautiful outside! We had a great time together throwing rocks and enjoying the sunshine.  Look at his cute face. Hailey in a band concert. Brooke in her fun shirt.  Matches her fun personality. I often have glasses on and on top of my hea...
