Four Jingle Bells

First of all, you know there are too many political commercials on tv and the radio, when your daughter walks around saying "I am (your name here) and I approve this message." Blake is a pillow connoisseur. He is always looking at new pillows, thinking I have stolen his pillow, wanting to buy new pillows. He bought a new pillow a few weeks ago and was convinced it was the best. I had my doubts. He offered to get me one....I said, no, I am fine with mine. He brought home the pillow and talked for days about it and how much better he felt about his sleep and choice of pillow. One night, I woke up feeling like I had had the best night's sleep ever! Come to find out, I had accidentally slept on his pillow. I could not share my awful secret, but he discovered the truth!! It was only one more night of sleeping on my awful pillow that I decided to go out and get my own. Am I allowed to say Happy Birthday to me? Well, I am going to this time because of the "fun" stuff we did on my birthday!=) In Vegas, you plant your grass near winter so it won't fry in the sun. So, we did that, which was actually a pretty nice present for me so the kids and I would have somewhere else to go during the day to play. The end of all the work! Blake has been working so hard to make our yard look great. I love these flowers, but if I had my way, we would have all purple flowers! Me at 28. I was telling my friend, I thought I would have done more by now. But, you know, I am pretty satisfied with my life and all that has happened. So, I guess I will just stay 28 for the next ten years or so! Clayton was nice to come help and made it just in time to help shovel the poo.=) Here is my real present. We have never had a real bed set with a bunch of pillows and stuff. So, my parents, Blake, Blake's parents and Clayton donated to the fund and we got this. ...

Halloween week was so busy. We went to a carnival at my mom's school that Hailey and Spencer loved!! Except for a kid throwing up during the cake walk. ew. It was hilarious to see all the princesses going down the slides on the playground too. Then we went to a ward Trunk or Treat. Hailey had a party at preschool and then a Halloween birthday party for her friend, Bella. Then trick-or-treating. I am glad we made it through the week and that the kids had fun. Hailey as "Princess Amidala" from Star Wars. I looked up the real costume online and it was $70. Too much for me to spend on a costume. Luckily, Hailey saw this one and was convinced it was Princess Amindala. Spencer was our little monkey. Lucky thing the stroller can fit three kids! We were happy to have Dillon, Michelle and Chad come with us. Blake did have a Dwight costume from the Office, but dressed up for work and that was about it. Next year, I will get him for both!
