I must admit that all those younger years of being patient and hoping the kids would not get to many egg shells in the recipes pays off! Paige and William doing the color game at the pool. Ah, young love. We did the 4th of July neighborhood parade and breakfast. The kids had a great time! They got some candy and made some friends. We bought a bunch of tubes for floating the river. Hooray for good fun! After we floated the creek, William and I missed the get off spot and William started to cry and say "We're floating away!" Blake ran over to help us (I was hanging on to a branch and William's tube at this point.) and he fell on his toe and broke it! It was pretty nasty and was a bummer way to end the day. But we didn't let that stop us! Blake stayed home and chilled and we went down the street to the Durrant Ranch and had some fun before fireworks. The kids ziplined over their pond.
