Four Jingle Bells

Spencer has taken on the dancing role. I think he watches Hailey too much! You should see him rock out to Singing Pizza Elmo.

Did some sparklers and fireworks. Made some red, white and blue cupcakes. Don't leave your flip flops out in the sun in 110 degrees or they will shrink. Blake fixed the tree in our front yard so it's not at a 90 degree angle anymore and needed to cool off. Spencer did not enjoy the sprinkler from the frog's mouth. Poor kid! Made a pin wheel. He loved the fireworks!! Yay America!

Step 1: Accidentally leave child safe scissors in the hands of your child. Step 2: Go clean the bathroom. Step 3: Laugh when your kid comes in to tell you she cut her hair. Step 4: Call your very nice sister who has already tried once to give your kid a haircut. Step 5: Bribe her with suckers, peanut M&M's, you tube videos of So you think you can dance and guitar hero. Step 6: Sit with her while she gets her haircut and watch the "Keep Bleeding" dance video about 15 times. Step 7: Be happy that she won't need a haircut for a long time. The first thing she said when Michelle was done was "I can see now." Hooray!

Hailey has been a little mischeivous lately. The other day, I noticed she was in the bathroom a little too long. I go in there and she says she is fishing. This involves using used toilet paper to fish in the potty. Yes, gross. Then the next time she is in the bathroom too long, I go check on her and find that she has filled the whole sink up with water and bubbles and is playing. I would say whatever, except she used half a bottle of soap to do so. At least her hands smelled "yummy".

Does anyone else sometimes feel like they are drowing trying to get things all cleaned up around home? I have figured out some stuff, but still need some help. We clean up before bed, during naps, etc, but still can't seem to have it as clean as I want. Any tips?
