Life here

Sorry, no pictures. Camera is still acting psycho. But there will be lots to come when it is all better. Spencer is doing great. Hailey sums it up best when she says "he grows and grows". He is smiling and cooing. Nothing sounds better than your baby talking. He loves to look at people and the electronic fish thing in Hailey's room. He is suffering through tummy time, but he is a good sport. Loves his mom alot!!! Hailey loved Blake as a baby, so I guess it is my turn. He is starting to sleep through the night a little better. I just wish I could stay awake while I feed him at night, instead of waking up to find him in our bed! He's a great baby though, happy and mellow. Hailey is funny everyday. She is into the Phantom of the Opera and calls it "the grumpy Halloween music." (I might have mentioned this already) She knows most of the words to the Phantom of the Opera song and even sings the extremely high pitched parts. When we listen to it in t...

Another one

Tagged again, by Heather. Might as well, it is rainy outside and the kids are asleep. Now I have to think of ten more things. I guess I am pretty weird so I can probably do it. Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog w/ 10 weird random, things, facts, habits or goals about yourself. At the end, you choose 10 people to be tagged, listing their names & why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment or message saying "You're It!" and telling them to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you. Since you can't tag me back, let me know when you've posted your blog so I can see your answers. 1. I usually get a new pair of slippers every winter because I wear them so much that they get trashed. 2. I have to sleep on the left side of the bed or I can't sleep. 3. I love organizing stuff (file cabinet, clothes, etc). Then I feel like I have more space. 4. To go with that, I love getting rid of stuff. My sister says I ge...

I am boring, so I will do this....

I was tagged by my friend, Kim. So, here it goes, six things you might not know about me. 1. Look at your hands. See the line on the inside top of your fingers? I have two lines on the top. So does my mom. Weird. 2. I have to use every last bit of shampoo/toothpaste/hairspray, etc. It is like a contest to see how much I can get out of it. 3. When I graduated from high school, I lost about 40 pounds. 4. I secretly enjoy playing Diner Dash 2 on the computer. Well, I guess it isn't a secret now. Blake was the only one who knew. I try to hide my shame! 5. I feel better if I can hear the dishwasher or washer/dryer running. That means something is happening to get things done without me having to do it. 6. Sometimes I feel like I don't have a personality without my kids around. How sad! I need to get out more.=) I tag: My sister, Michelle, my sister, Sarah, my mom (time to jump on the bandwagon!), Marie, Morgan, and Barbara The rules: 1. The player lists 6 facts/habits about th...

Halloween video

This is kinda out of order, but I couldn't resist!

Blessing day

Image
Today was Spencer's blessing day. He was so happy and cooperative during the blessing. It was so great to have our families and friends with us. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. Hard to believe he has been with us for 6 weeks already, time moves even faster with two crazy kids! Blake's mom (nana) with Spencer. Yes, he is hungry as always! We say he is just like his namesake Uncle Spencer because he is always hungry and whining all the time! Cheesy pictures. Blake always has super cheesy smiles in pictures, so we wanted to make these good. I had a more cheesy one, but it just looked dumb. Hailey loves cuddling up with papa. She watched the Simpsons Halloween special. I am embarrassed that she could say Simpsons at a young age, thanks dad! This is as close as we came to a family picture while we were rushing out the door this morning. Hailey poses like that because we had pictures taken Friday and that's what they wanted her to do. Funny girl! Doesn't B...

Two cuties!

Image
Hailey has pretty much ruled the blog so far. So, we had to add Spencer's section.=) He is smiling now and so strong! He is pushing like crazy with his feet during tummy time and using both hands to push off of his dad when he holds him. His neck strength is great too. Will try to post some videos! He has made our home so happy. It is great to have two of them around.

Attack of the Stickers!

Image
Poor little guy!! He is already Hailey's little doll/toy. Can't leave them alone for a minute! I was doing the dishes and turned around to find this. I guess we'll always be able to tease him about Princess stickers! He was a great sport.

Carving Pumpkins

Image
We carved pumpkins with Michelle and her family. We tried to find Michelle an extra pumpkin, but after three sold out stores, we gave up. Hailey decided which shape we should make the eyes, nose, and mouth. It turned out pretty good. She's a creative girl. We painted pumpkins with Ethan when he was over. I couldn't find the camera then, but his looked pretty much the same as hers. We also watched the Charlie Brown Halloween show. I always loved that show! I just realized how many bruises are on Hailey's legs....no, I don't beat her. I swear! For someone who really likes to wear dresses, she is sure a tomboy!

Halloween!!

Image
Halloween was a great time. We went to a ward Halloween party that had some fun carnival games and a great haunted house. We weren't too scared until the chainsaws came out at the end. Yikes!! We did some trick or treating which wasn't a big hit because Hailey was so exhausted from all the Halloween activities we had done that week. But she did say trick or treat at a few doors and thank you. I was so proud.=) Tinkerbell "flying to the mountains" as Hailey likes to say. Pooped out, literally, he totally pooped in this outfit!
