Four Jingle Bells

 Blake and I were invited to a friend's part for New Years Eve. We have never been away from the kids for New Years and usually do a lot of fun things, but we decided to go.  We did all the early stuff with the kids.  We toasted with apple juice.  The kids doing a silly dance.  Brooke being a doll.  The party was an ugly sweater party and this was the worst we could come up with.  The kids love them for night time shirts! We had a great time with the Pences and Kohks.  Had fonude and treats and laughed so hard that my face hurt.  Also, my body is not used to staying up till 1 am.  I was a bit grumpy the next day, but it was worth it!  We saw this in a magazine and acutally made it!  It's a rice krispie igloo.  Hailey did the whole thing.  It was fun!  We watched the ball drop all over the world courtesy of Youtube.  Our babysitter,Crystal, is a college student in our ward....

  This is what William and I did during sledding.  Sat in my friend Liz's car and watched kid shows.  Then the car died bc the battery ran out.  Good times.  But he was much happier here than outside! Thanks for good friends!  We went sledding with our friends over Christmas break.  The kids loved it! Except for William who hated it.  He hated the cold. He hated the wet.  He hated the fun.  No good.    They made a cool sledding train too.  Michelle sent me these cute washing gloves.  Makes the dishes a little more fun.  Don't mind the Spiderman shirt. It's Blake's and it's Christmas break, so no rules!  This is the last of the "nice" days we had.  The kids didn't even need their coats!  William again, being grumpy.  I entered a contest for the museums out here and our names were drawn!  We had the missionaries over for our annual Jesus Birthday party on Christmas Eve.  We watched some church videos and it turned out really well.  We all look forward to this.  And we were excited that we could be with the missionaries too.   We told the Christmas story.  On a sidenote, we also went Christmas caroling for the first time ever.  That was pretty fun.   Spencer putting out his reindeer food (oatmeal) from his teacher.  It was sooo cold so we hurried quick.  Love these wild kids.  Hailey got to help play elf, now that she has figured a few things out.  And that is all I am going to say about that!  Stockings first.  The kids were so excited and Brooke wouldn't wake up!  So, they helped her out.   Sharing new cars  Brooke was pretty thrilled when she woke up!    William took over Spencer's castle.  It's nice to have four k...
