Staycation!!

Image
My Aunt Jenny has a dr. friend who wasn't able to use her time share and wanted to give it to someone else. So lucky that it was in Vegas and we live here! So, we were spontaneous for once and packed and went to a pretty awesome condo down on the strip. Spencer and Hailey got to share a room and loved it except Spencer kept singing at night and waking Hailey up.=) Brooke slept in the bathroom. Good times! We watched movies, got food, played games and just hung out. The kids loved staying at a hotel. It was so nice that we got to do something fun before baby brother joins us! Bath from heaven! Only took 8 towels to clean up the floor! Woo hoo! We can do whatever we want at someone else's house! Attempting to play a game we borrowed from the game room. It didn't last long, but it was a good effort! Girls doing a marshmallow snowman craft. Spencer=not interested! Spencer building a tower out of pillows We saw Arthur Christmas. It was awesome! The kids liked this San...

Jewelry extravaganza! Putting together the train track Baby brother got some new shoes. I was showing him them.=) Hailey's life is complete with her dolphin from Clayton. She even changed her favorite color to blue because dolphins are blue! Brooke was very thrilled to get her girly outfit from Grandma and Papa! Cool train track from Grandma! Homemade pizza at Grandma's and Papa's for dinners. So good!! Continuing the Bell tradition of ice cream with homemade waffles for breakfast. Stocking time! Spencer was as cute as ever. He loves the dinosaur books and his car transporter. Hailey has wanted a baby with a stroller for awhile and a camera. Done and done. I am happy she is still so innocent and likes simple things. Hope it lasts awhile longer! Brooke didn't need any help this year! She went crazy! She loved her dress up clothes. Didn't love her new doll so much and asked for her stuffed frog. Ready to dive in! Spencer in his usual position when Clint is ...

Christmas Eve Party

Our whole family Cousins!!! There were a lot more there, but these guys hang out together alot. Family picture. Brooke, of course, has to have her stuffed frog everywhere she goes! Making star sugar cookies Aunt Sandy making Brooke into an angel. This lasted for about five seconds, but was cute while it was on! Aunt Sandy is a saint. She is the most patient and wonderful woman. She is so kind and raised 7 wonderful children and I would love to be like her! There was a marshmallow sheep station. Uncle Clint was very patient and helped the kids. Spencer loves Uncle Clint! They love watching videos on Clint's phone too. My mom's brothers and sisters have gotten together for years on Christmas Eve. Aunt Mindie put together a super fun Christmas party for us all and the kids loved it!

Christmas Fun

We had a very full month of Christmas activities. The older the kids get, the more fun it all is. They make Christmas so magical. Hailey and Grandpa relaxing after the "Jesus dinner". Our friends, the Baileys, have a Christmas Eve tradition of doing a dinner that Jesus would eat. We did a roast chicken, bread, corn and juice. We shared it with my parents. It was pretty great! We made snow globes. The kids love them! And I love that the glitter stays inside! They were reindeer. We had our friends Ella, Wade, Lily and Owen over to decorate cookies. We don't get to see them very often with school in so it was so great to be reunited! The Elf on the Shelf came to our house courtesy of my Aunt Becky. I thought it was pretty lame, but Hailey wrote him a letter saying "I believe in you. Come to my house, etc." I didn't have the heart to say no and I didn't have the desire to spend 25 bucks on the dumb thing, so my Aunt let me borrow him to see if it w...
