Four Jingle Bells

Spencer woke up with a yucky green nose today, so he and I stayed home from church. Just wondering, will our family ever be not sick for longer than a week?! Anyway, last night Blake and I went on our first date since Valentine's Day (sad, I know!) to Bodies. I am sure most of you have heard of it. I don't know how to describe it except that there are actual human bodies to view inside and descriptions of what everything in the body does. It was amazing!! After seeing it, I thought how can anyone say there is not a God who creates us. Everything is so intricate and must work together just right for people to be able to function. Even something as simple as bending your toes requires so many muscles and blood to make it work right. Seeing how many veins and arteries are in the body and how much blood is pumped through us every second is unbelievable!! There was also a room with babies in it. This was a difficult room to be in, but amazing to see, even at 8 weeks gestat...

Michelle and I must have the cutest kids in the family! Oh yeah, we are the only ones with kids, but still it is so fun to see them play together. Ethan is so patient and fun with Hailey. Dillon is walking all over the place and into everything, sneaky little guy! Why I love Spring!!! This is my favorite flower, the cala lily. The only time it is out is in the Spring. I was so happy to have them in my wedding bouquet. Hailey picked these out for me on a date with dad.

I got a much needed haircut from my cousin, Kelsey. If anyone is interested in a haircut, I would be more than happy to give you her information. She definitely knows what she is doing! She had my hair all styled so cute and I felt like posh spice.=) Of course, this is the next day. Does it bug anyone else that you can never make your hair look as cute as the hair stylist? I guess I need a Chi straight iron!

First sitting in a highchair at our 1st class experience at IHOP on our night out. Once again, Hailey just couldn't resist! Is there anything cuter than a chubby baby? My Little Man....I think I am going to start crying! He is so big. He is rolling and sitting and getting a great personality. He loves to smile and be entertained by Hailey.

Showing off her make up First real sleepover at Grandma's She was all set with her "Grumpy Bear" and nightlight. She was so good for Grandma and Papa and mom and dad were able to get some kinda sleep....thanks to Spencer who is still waking up at six months. Grrrr! It was a vast improvement on the last time she slept at Grandmas when Spencer was born. She went on a food strike and wouldn't go potty for a whole day. Plus, she was so upset that she threw up. She has grown up so much since that time! Hailey's lastest ensemble. Her outfit for a late night Walmart trip. At least she fit in. My favorite is the snowman socks and those are the same dang too big shoes which are starting to smell like feet since she has to wear them everywhere!

It seems like we did Easter all weekend. It was a lot of fun because it was the first Easter that Hailey was totally excited about coloring eggs and all the fun things. We went to our friend's Easter birthday party and it was great. We had a great dinner at my parent's house and played a game Imaginif (highly recommend it!) She was super excited when she saw that her name could show up on an egg. On Saturday, we went to an Easter party with people from our ward. We played games, jumped in a bouncy house, had lunch and an awesome Easter egg hunt. Here is Hailey's stash. She also got a dinosaur set as a prize. Leave it to Hailey to pick out dinosaurs instead of princess stuff. Easter morning: Hailey was really excited about her My Little Pony. She has been talking about one for a few weeks. We have now made a deal that if she lets me do her hair for two weeks without complaining and crying, she can get a "mommy" for her My Little Pony. She ate her chocola...

I have never really done a "blog post" where I acutally ahve something to say about something. But I have been thinking about this for awhile and thought I would get some other thoughts on it. Ever since I was pregnant with Spencer, my musical tastes have changed. I still love the same stuff I have always liked, but now I am liking Justin Timberlake and Elton John. Is it legal for a 26 1/2 year old married lady to like Justin Timberlake? I used to make fun of him all the time, but now I think he is awesome and not to mention, very attractive. What?! And Elton John, where did that come from? I heard some of his songs on the radio and then I borrowed a cd from the library to see if I would like it and I totally love it. Now two of Hailey's favorite songs are "Summer Love" and "Benny and the Jets". I don't think it's normal for a 3 year old to like those songs ( and we won't even get started on the Phantom obsession!!!)0 I guess I am j...

Blake and Hailey have a twice a month date to go to (in Hailey's words) "Pet store, Halloween store (party city), krispy kremes (a treat, she got that from my dad." Lately, they have added getting mom some flowers to the list, which has been great. She is always so excited to give them to me. The other day, I was frustrated and I put my head in my hands and she said "It's okay mom, here are your flowers" and brought them to me. Could she be any sweeter?!

Some girls in my ward are putting on an Easter egg hunt/party Saturday the 22nd. (this sat) There will be a bouncy house, games, face painting, food, and prizes, etc. Should be a lot of fun!! Hailey has been sick since yesterday with a yucky cough and sometimes a fever. So, we have been confined to the house and to watching movies. I can stand almost any kid movie, minus Barbie Fairytopia which has now been banned till further notice. Thank goodness 101 Dalmations just came out. Besides that, we watched Bug's Life three times and Incredibles and more that I can't even start to remember. If I get this nasty cold, grrrr!!

Our friends, Melissa and Paisley gave Hailey a make up set for her birthday. How nice of them?

My cute little nephew, Dillon, turned one a few weeks ago. CAn't believe it's already been a year!

I thought we might have avoided the putting on my own clothes my own way thing, but Hailey jumped on the bandwagon. I would never allow socks with sandals otherwise! That mixture of patterns almost makes me feel sick. And she wants to wear those shoes everywhere and with everything even though they are two sizes too big. It's weird, lately we haven't been able to find them anywhere!

I'm not sure how he wound up with this outfit, but yikes. Rest assured, this is the one and only time he will be wearing it!!! He loves his feet and I love his rolly polly body! Poor guy, Hailey is really into "squishing" things right now. This includes Spencer and being squished herself (like asking us to sit on her and squish her). Note: no babies were hurt in the making of this squish. Trying out the Craig's List johnny jumper. Brand new for $9, you can't beat that!

Our good friends Mike and Mikaila came to visit us while they were in St. George. It was so great to see them and fun to have our kids play together. Mikaila was one of my college roommates, so it is always fun to relive our great times!

Yes, late again. But I couldn't resist. I told Blake he has to be Hailey's Valentine even when she is an old lady. Especially in high school/college when boys are dumbos! Note her super cute heart shirt from Nana Bell. Spencer's best bud is Hailey.

These are some older Spencer pictures, but we just love his blue eyes! Doing a pretty good job of sitting up. I think his belly helps him to have something to prop him up! The winking tradition continues.

Hailey insisted on having a Spiderman party this year. Mostly because of dad's encouragement and Saturday morning cartoons she watches with him. So, we watched (parts) of Spiderman and had a Spiderman cake and had my family over for dinner. We had a pretty good time! Happy late birthday, Hailey! Can't believe I have a three year old girl!=) Papa trying out the new tunnel too. It has been awesome when it is our turn to do preschool at our house.
