Chicago!!

Image
We thought we should go somewhere fun over Spring Break, so we went to Chicago for three days.  It was a cool place.  The kids loved the hotel and we kept busy and exhausted!! I didn't get pictures of Spencer at the lego store or the girls at American Doll because we were just worn out! But you can imagine their smiles.  We had just walked 2 miles trying to find the stores and they were troopers.  Pretty frozen but it all worked out.  Next time, I want to go with Blake and check out Little Italy.  Prepping for swimming!  Two of my favorite guys  Here is my other favorite guy.  We went to a children's museum for hours and Spencer loved this bus of course!  Brookie building a masterpiece  William is such a trooper to go along on all of our adventures. He can fall asleep anywhere, as long as he is on Blake. You can see that Blake feels the same way.  We had the kids earn money before the trip so they could get...

Spring Break

Image
Spring Break was full of fun.  We tried to keep busy, but not too busy so that we didn't get any relaxing in.  Spencer made his own pb sandwich.  He was pretty thrilled about the whole thing!  Went bowling with our friends, the Wilsteds. We were the only ones in the bowling alley. Spencer was hilarious whenever he got a strike.  All the pictures of him are blurry because he was so excited!  Brooke being adorable. It was still cold and snowed over Spring Break so she was in her pjs.  I almost packed up and moved back to Vegas when it snowed in March.  But we survived.  The leprechaun visited us over St. Patrick's Day  Hailey bowling.  she wanted to dress as a witch.  Also, she let me do her hair because she has a little crush on Jake Wilsted. he he  Brooke busting out her moves.  They all had to dress up for bowling.  And I didn't care because they were all dressed and not crying. ...

Hailey's 8th Birthday and Baptism

Image
The 8th birthday has been looked forward to for many years!  Hailey was thrilled to have her Bishop interview and to be baptized a member of our church.  It has been great to have another member of the family who has the Holy Ghost.  Hailey has taken it very seriously and has tried even harder to make right choices.  We are so proud of her and the example she has been to the other kids.  Hailey and her birthday pencils.  New scooter!  She ended up with 13 necklaces!  We weren't able to have family out for her baptism, but we had a lot of support from our ward.  She felt very special and it was a great day for her!  We also got her her first set of scriptures. Aunt Monica sent this really sweet towel that she made with a cute poem.  It's the best towel in the house so we all try to steal it.  Nanah Bell sent her some adorable outfits.  This was her favorite one. Aunt Sarah and Clint sent a box full...

Band of Wild Children!

Image
The kids break out in random rocking whenever a song comes on that they love.  It is pretty hilarious as they argue over who is going to do what.  Spencer is usually the band leader.  He's awesome like that.  Brooke playing her "trumpet".  She is very talented.  Brooke got into some lipstick.  Having a good dinner when dad was out of town.  The kids get to eat in the front room hardly ever, so it is super exciting for them.  We were at the kid's school and they thought it would be fun to put William in Mrs. Roke's chair.  He obviously enjoyed it! This picture is blurry but these two are best buds. I love it.  William is so happy to see Blake when he gets home.  They just work well together.

More stuff

Wiliam just can't seem to keep out of my purse.  No matter where it is, he will army crawl until he gets into it and pulls everything out of my wallet.  Sometimes I give him my purse just to keep him busy, like when I am cooking dinner.  sisters.  Brooke and Hailey get along pretty well.  They share a room and are pretty nice about it.  We'll see if it continues when they get older!  Hailey looked so grown up in this outfit. I had to take a picture.  We had Waddle the Penguin come stay with us for the weekend from Hailey's class.  Pretty funny how bringing a penguin home makes kids so excited!  We went with our friend Joyce to the Rock Island Arsenal.  It is an amazing military base on an island that was used during the Civil War.  The kids checked out this telescope to see some birds.  Blake was in Idaho this weekend for Jordan's farewell, so we kept pretty busy.  Lucky for me, there was an i...
