Reading Fun

Hailey has been so cute about reading with Spencer during breakfast. She has memorized a ton of books and they both love to read together! She loves doing everything I do!

Just can't resist

How can I resist this cute chubby happy guy?! Hailey's first experience with sponge curlers. I finally convinced her because her friend's birthday party was coming up and that it was important to have pretty hair for party's. Now she wants curly hair all the time! Blake surprised me the other day with these beautiful roses and my favorite, chocolate cream oreos. Yum! What a great hubby I have. This one should be flipped to show Spencer crushing Hailey, one of his favorite pastimes. It is hilarious to watch him and she loves it too. Can I just say Hailey is so smart and creative. I guess this is kind of my journal so I can brag about her as much as I want!! She is hilarious and so fun. Our first garden. Oops. Flip.=) Blake worked late one night so the kids ate outside, very exciting of course!

Bratty kids at the park....

Hope you enjoy this non-picture blog about our experience at the park. We haven't been to the park in awhile, partly due to the weather and partly due to I was so tired and barfy! But we had a beautiful day today and had a picnic at the park and fed the ducks. Anyway, the point of my story is Hailey is patiently waiting for the swings. She very politley asked two girls if she could have a turn when they were done. (I was so proud of her.) But the girls just looked at her and then one girl told her friend, "Save my swing, I will be right back." What a butt! Then two other kids came and tried to swing, but the girl wouldn't let her. Finally, they get off after "swinging" aka sitting there so they can keep the swings away from other kids. Hailey had gotten tired o...

A Long One......

We've been pretty busy recently, so here is a super long post about what we've been doing.  I am not really feeling creative enough to make individual cute posts.  Hailey got her first library card and wrote her first and last name all on her own.  She is super excited and checked out her and Spencer's books on her own! My sister, Michelle, had her baby, Nolan about a week ago.  He is such a sweetheart.  Spencer saw him and kept saying "Ooooh" and "cool". Hailey just wanted to hold him the whole time and she did a great job!! Makes me even more excited to see them with our baby! This is how Spencer folds his arms. We were planting our garden the other night (first attempt) and came in and discovered Mr. Poopy Pants up to his elbows in peanut butter. He loves it and gets mad when I won't let him eat it straight out of the jar.   He even held it up to his mouth and walked all over the place with peanut butter fingers.  but, really who can get mad at th...
