Las Vegas Visit (April)

Image
Michelle went to the temple for the first time in April.  I was blessed to be able to get down there.  William and I loved it!  He was a great traveler.  And traveling with one child is so much easier than 4!  I can't believe I ever thought one kid was hard.  =)  William slept on all the flights, so I got to sleep too.  Lucky for me, he is super attached to me and is just happy to sit on my lap, so that worked out great on the flight.  We stayed with Laurie and Alan in their totally awesome guest room, which was more like a hotel room.  It was so nice to go to bed when I wanted, sleep in, eat out and hang out with family and friends.  So, thank you Laurie!  We didn't even get a picture together, but had a great time.  And I loved seeing her kids.  Made me miss mine less.  Michelle and her family.  Happy, happy day.  I am so proud of her and her decisions.  She has such a great spirit and ha...

More of stuff (April 2013 sometime!)

So very behind, but pushing forward hoping to catch up!  Spencer  being a working man!  Don't know what this was about, but happy I have Hailey as my helper!  Spencer loves worms!!  He always wants to rescue them and save them.  I must admit I am not in love with worms being brought in the house, but hands can always be washed.  Odd picture but we discovered that William loves asparagus and so do most of the kids.  Hooray, asparagus is king!  William loves pretending to help out.  I will take all I can get!  Typical weekend mornings around our house.  Wouldn't have it any other way, even with elbows in the face, morning breath and loud screams.  These two trees are in Dory's yard next door.  She and her husband were married for 65 years and he passed away a year ago.  But I loved that these trees grew in their yard while they lived in that house.  It was always so symbolic to me....

Conference Weekend and a walk in the woods

Conference weekend aka pajama church!  We had a great and pretty mellow weekend.  I think we even got to listen to some of the conference and the kids played nicely.  I took the kids on a walk in the woods behind our house in between sessions on Sunday.  We love these woods!  We have seen many deer, raccoons, birds, bunnies and lots of other wildlife out there.  Also, some junk because people have dumped old stoves and stuff.  The kids thought that was funny.   Also, Spencer won a drawing from a local family magazine.  So, he and his friend, Logan, Hailey and I went to Scooby Doo Live.  It was pretty exciting.  Really, it was a little lame but they had a great time.  Minus Spencer hiding under the chair whenever the ghosts showed up and having to spend a ridiculous amount of money on treats, we had a great time! Two of the best guys! Cool branch that looked like a swing Spencer being stinking cute Crossi...
