Happy Holidays to all of you wonderful people!! We are so grateful for all we have received and the blessings we have in our lives. For our Savior, Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us that makes our lives possible and hope and love abound. We know that through Him, we can be whole and perfected. We are grateful for this season and hope that the feelings we have at this time can continue all year.

Funny Bunnies

First, this is supposed to be at the end, but I am far too lazy to move it.....I loved this moment. We had a few spare moments before church, shocking I know! Blake was giving a drink to Brooke and she just LOVES Blake. Even more so than any of my other babies have loved him. She is the first to yell "DAD" when he comes home and will continue to yell "DAD" until he acknowledges her AKA holds her, hugs her, talks to her, etc. They are good buds, which is nice for me! Hailey and Spencer keep me entertained. They are a bucketful of laughs. Usually pretending, pillow fighting, real fighting, singing, dancing, you get the picture. Who knows what they were doing here, but I'm sure it was a good time. PS. When Hailey wears that outfit, she calls herself a pink nightmare. Couldn't be more true..;) Whenever Brooke gets tired, she will go lay on the stairs and kinda roll around on them. She is just so freaking cute. I can't stand it. I call her a "yum...

Thanksgiving

Image
Brooke on Thanksgiving being her super adorable self in a dress that Hailey wore at that age (tear!) This year, my crafty sister Michelle offered to do Thanksgiving at her house. It was such a fun time!! Our whole family was there except Sarah's husband Clint who had to work. Michelle made the turkey in a very specialized way and had cute place settings and crafts for the kids. Ethan looking thrilled with his fun craft! Blake and Spencer watching the parade while Hailey and I cooked. She made the green bean casserole and sweet potatoes mostly by herself! I was so proud! Mmmm, smells good!

Trim up the Tree

Blake had tithing settlement one Sunday before Thanksgiving and we were getting bored so we put up the tree. The kids were such big helpers!! They loved it. It was such a great time! So, yes, we have had our tree up for three weeks, but it's actually been kind of fun! Each year, we get a new ornament for each of us for the tree. This year, Spencer got a reindeer because their is a farm near us that has reindeer and he loves to drive by and look at them. Brooke got a snowflake because she is just the sweetest little delicate yummy thing!! Hailey got a girl with with two red braids. Blake got a big heart because that is what he has. And he got me a pretty glass angel. It was great. We love this tradition and our tree is looking pretty mish mashed but it has lots of great memories.

Some Stuff

Brooke and Spencer went with me to help at Hailey's school party. It was great. They had so much fun, candy, and entertainment! Brooke was happy to just sit in this box of markers and throw them everywhere. The kindergartners were concerned because she was making a mess, but it was so dang cute! She is my little self entertainer and can be busy building blocks and knocking them over forever or playing in the pantry. She also loves to play in the toilet, so that is sure fun. =) She is such a sweet girl and it's a good thing so that I feel like I can have another baby someday! My mom and sisters and I went to Time out for Women. It was amazing and so nice to be Heather again for 24 hours! Thanks mom. We had the missionaries over for dinner Halloween since Halloween was pretty lame this year. We had pumpkin pancakes and the kids passed out candy. That was more fun for them than getting candy. Hailey cried when there weren't any more trick or treaters. My birthday gift fro...

The Big 3-0

Ok, I am 30 and it is officially the last time you can ask me how old I am.=) No really, I was a bit bummed about turning 30 for some reason. I know, I know, you're only as old as you feel (blah, blah, blah) and I feel like I just got out of college most of the time. But the thought of getting older or maybe my kids getting older is just weird to me and a bit scary, but I am going to accept it and enjoy it! My "evening look". Blake and I went on a date (thanks, mom) and went to a Mexican restaurant and a movie, both of which we had gift certificates for, so that was pretty great. Blake does not like Mexican food and didn't complain once and might have actually enjoyed it! We saw Hereafter, which was good, but kind of melancholy for a 30th birthday. Maybe I'll go see a Barbie movie next year....=) My "day look". Ha, really I just got all dressed for the first time on a Monday in many moons. The kids and I went to Target with our cousins and Taco Bel...

Hailey

Image
Hailey is getting her own post because blogger is retarded and not letting me upload stuff right, sooooo......Hailey's shoe broke and her great idea was to fix it with "duck tape". Is she her dad's daughter or what? Needless, to say it lasted about an hour before it broke and I had to secretly lose her shoes in the garbage. But she gets an A for effort! I made this dress, yes, I did! Really, it was a pillowcase turned into a dress that just turned out great, I thought. I even have the courage to try a real dress or maybe a skirt. Trying to get a view of the bow in the back, but this is what we ended up with. I think she looks pretty great and grown up, now stop growing up! Hailey is doing great. She has always had a hard time going potty #2 and recently has been doing so much better which makes her mood (and mine) so much better! Ok, TMI, I know, but it is a big step for us! She is taking Spanish and piano and loving them both. She has made some friends at sch...
