Summer Part 2 (Idaho and Utah)

Kellie and Spencer were so nice to watch the kids while we went to the Idaho Falls temple with Ryan and Monica.  They took them to the Lego movie and had a great time.  It was so nice to have a chance to go to the temple since we hadn't been in six months.  It's hard with it being 3 hours but we are making new goals to get there every other month.
Addi and Brooke playing in the sand.
The kids loved Freckles, the Bell's dog.  William could have pet him all day.
A gorgeous Idaho sunset.
One of my favorite parts of the family reunion was Grandpa Bell telling the kids stories about the Bell children growing up.  He was a decent journal keeper and was able to read about Blake's experience with getting his eye patched to help with his blindness and his strong spirit.
Then Nanah made a game where the kids answered questions to win prizes.  They loved it, even Spencer who was being a bad sport, sucked it up and had fun.

Hailey has always wanted to see her birth hospital in Rexburg, so she was pretty excited.  We love Rexbug!  It was our first meeting place and our first home together.  I would move back there just to teach at BYU-Idaho, such a great spirit there.
We went to the spray park in Rexburg for a few hours.  The kids had such a great time and it was nice to hang out while they played.
Grandpa doing his regular ballerina dance he does for the little girls.  What a good sport!
Hailey and Addi snuggling
We had a fun time roasting marshmallows one night.  We kept saying we were going to get the kids to bed at a decent time every night, but we never did and it was so fun.

We went on a fun old carousel in Rexburg.  I went on it once while I was in college too.
William's first time on a carousel. He was a fan.  Brooke and Spencer had to be independent and be on a horse away from me, but she was there too!
We stopped by the Rexburg temple.  What a beautiful building!  Was so great to see so many temples while we were out West.

We took the kids to our favorite sandwich/ice cream shop, Millhollow.  It was so fun and delicious.  Blake and I used to go there all the time when we lived in Rexburg.
We wanted to see all of our Rexburg friends, but we just didn't have enough time.  So, we decided to see the ones we hadn't seen in the longest, Blaire and Jackie Siepert.  They were in our first ward and were so kind to us.  They would invite us to dinner and make the yummiest food.  We have always loved our older friends and it was so fun to see them. I was nervous thinking they wouldn't remember us, but they totally did and chatted with us for a long time.  And made us gigantic bowls of ice cream.  True friends!
The Bells ordered pizza from Mike's pizza truck.  It was so yummy and so fun!
Hailey practicing the rope swing at the Sieperts. I was waiting for her to jump in, but she resisted.  Aren't they the coolest?  They made a giant pond in their front yard!
Riding Grandpa's horse Blue.
William's first horse ride.  He really loved it!
Spencer was "hired for his first job". Spencer hung out in the pizza truck and took orders and brought our pizza to us.  He earned a dollar.  He came in and told me he could only eat one piece of pizza because he had to get back to work.  Now he tells everyone that he was hired for a job with the cutest smile ever.  He says "I was a pizza man." I love this kid!

We had a baby shower for Monica and Kellie.  It was so fun to celebrate them and their babies. I just wish I could help and snuggle them!

The girls went on a lunch and pedicure date in exchange for a Bell boy video game night. It was so nice to get away and have so me yummy food and pretty feet!

I'm thinking we need some of these!  We stayed with Monica and Ryan for two days.  It was so fun.  The kids ran wild and skipped naps. Monica was such a trooper having extra people since she was 8 months pregnant.
Two of my favorite ladies!  She even made this delicious artichoke dip for Blake because he loves it so much.
Hailey stayed in the "Hailey Potter closet", which she totally loved.  The kids still call it the Hailey Potter closet.  We love our Bells!
