11th Anniversary! (June)

We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary June 15th.  We were able to find a babysitter, even though we had just moved in.  Thank goodness for Young Women!  11 years is a long time, but doesn't feel like it.  In fact, it feels like we have always been married and is strange to think that I was ever not married to Blake. He is such a hard worker and loves our family.  He cares about our feelings and our lives.  We are so blessed to have him as a dad and husband.
Now here's the fun part of the story.  I got a deeeelicious dinner!  It was wonderful.  I had almost eaten the whole thing when Blake gets a weird look on his face and throws up all over the table.  He had had some lobster bisque, even though he has a seafood allergy. He thought he could get away with it, bummer!
In happier times, before the allergic reaction.  The waiter felt so bad, he gave us a buy one get one free for next time.  On the way home, he was sick some more, so we pulled over.  There was a gorgeous sunset but my pictures wouldn't load.  It was sure beautiful though! He made it up to me by taking me to dinner the next week (and not ordering seafood) and shopping with me at Target for a looong time.  Good guy I have.
We have tried to get out and about.  There was a free lego project at Toys r us, so we headed down.  The kids loved all the cars.
Spencer is a lego master.  He put his whole car together in no time.  He has an engineer's mind!
We went to lunch and realized that the girls all had purple on.  Love these two!
Went to the Sturgiss Falls parade and fair.  The kids got their faces painted (bat, flower, rainbow).  They got some balloon animals, played in a huge lego area and had funnel cakes.  The parade was fun too.  It rained right up till the parade started, so we were huddled underneath blankets and an umbrella, but then it stopped and the parade was awesome. The kids got a lot of candy and even a hot dog.  Good times!
Father's Day was great this year.  It was nice to be more settled so we could have some fun.  The kids loved jumping all over Blake and it was Father's Day, so less annoying. He got a cool tv.

Before church.  As good as it's gonna get.
The kids spent a lot of time this summer creating with legos.  They worked together pretty nicely. I think this one was a house.
