Happy 6th birthday Brooke (August)

Brooke's 6th birthday fell on the first day of kindergarten!  Lots of excitement.  So, when the school called at noon saying she had thrown up at lunch, I knew the excitement had gotten to her.  What a crazy first day.  She loved the german pancake for breakfast.

She wanted a castle cake.  Cakes are not my forte but it turned out ok.  At least we can tell it's a castle!  And it was yummy.

Brooke has so much energy.  She is strong and fun and full of life.  I love playing matching games with her because she is so funny and excited when she wins. (And tries to cheat sometimes.)  She has a great artistic ability and will try anything the first time. NO FEAR!

We mad these cupcakes for her school friends. Happily, she got to pass them out before the throwing up episode at school.

First day of school outfits.  Brooke and Hailey wore matching shirts by their own choice.  I loved that.

Brooke hanging out at home after she came home from school early  We read books and snuggled in bed.  She got a great birthday crown she wore until it was destroyed.

We picked up the kids after school and played on the playground.  There are four playgrounds and they are so fun.

This is William's favorite part of the day.  A lot of the time we have errands and to do's during the day so an extra long playtime at the park before dinner is perfect.

Brooke chose to go to Chuck E Cheese for her family party.  They all got a lot of tickets and some little prizes.  And they want to go all the time.

Brooke took this hilarious picture which totally matches her personality.  She is such a silly girl.  She has a bright smile and will share with anyone.  She is always up for an imagination game or baking.  She is extremely picky when it comes to clothes and textures, so shopping is hard but she loves pretty things.  She never wants to wear braids or ponytails because she thinks people won't recognize her.  She has a lot of great stories.  We love her!  (Birthday present opening pictures somewhere around here!)
