Spencer is baptized and Nana and Papa Bell visit!
Spencer on his baptism day. He has been eagerly awaiting this day and was prepared. We completed the Book of Mormon a few days before he was baptized. I am glad we've been able to keep this tradition going with the kids.
Spencer and Blake, two of a kind. He was blessed to have alot of family and friends at his baptism. We had to hold the meeting in the chapel! His teacher, Mrs L-R, came and our neighbor Tom and our friend Danielle. We were happy to do missionary work. There was a strong spirit there and he was smiling all day.
Nanah and Papa gave him this blanket, which William tried to steal away right after. I don't blame him! It's super soft.
Grandma and Grandpa have the kids choose their favorite picture of Jesus and they give it to them for their baptism. Such a pretty picture.
We got Spencer his own set of scriptures. What a great day.
We had a great time with Nanah and Papa. There aren't many pictures because we worked alot! Nanah cleaned out kids bedrooms (they were desperately needed!) and went to lunch and watched movies at night. And she did my laundry. She is the laundry master. The house was pretty clean for a week! Papa helped Blake with outside projects. It was fun to have them at our new house.
We went to Nauvoo too. We stayed overnight and rented a 12 passenger van so we could all drive together. Was quite the adventure! The kids were convinced that we should get one. They hadn't been to Nauvoo for ten years and it was great. We wish we had had more time to stay there. We were able to visit a house we hadn't gone into yet. It was a grocery shop. We love visiting new houses when we go there.
We went on the carriage ride where they tell pioneer stories. Great Grandpa Bell was a missionary here and Nanah kept saying she could hear his voice telling the stories. It was really great for them to have the chance to be there.
