Fake Spring and Home Improvement
We went to see a play at the local theatre. We sure love hanging out with these people!
William was such a trooper. He has been painting walls with me and being patient when I need to get these projects done. He earned a fire truck puzzle at Target and was pretty excited about it. So excited that he woke up at 3:30 in the morning and wanted to play with it. When I told him he couldn't and he had to go back to bed, he was not happy and threw a huge fit. So, he didn't get to play with it the next day. But he stayed in his bed that next night!
A messy picture of a work in progress. Who paints their walls plum purple and lavender? We are in the process of making them a clean gray.
I looked outside one day and I could see the grass! It was very exciting. My heart even leapt!
Spencer has always hated having haircuts. He wears goggles so that the hair doesn't get into his eyes. This is the first time that he didn't have to wear them and didn't freak out during the haircut! Lindsay and I were so excited!
Dad and William napping.
William has become BFF with the guinea pig, Oreo. He just picks her up and takes her all over the house. It is so funny to look up and see him suddenly holding her.
The after of the fireplace! Hooray! Such an improvement. Blake is the best.
There was a mini golf course set up at the library for older kids, so we went together. Our team name was Hogwarts and it was a great time. We had to take a picture by creepy Doby (he's my favorite.) Spencer didn't get mad when he kept missing the hole. He is growing up!
Hailey was spotlighted in primary.
It was 40 degrees. In William's opinion, shorts weather.
We got sidewalk chalk on a warmer day and Brooke drew a picture of boogers and said "Tell everyone these are boogers so they don't step on them." She's hilarious.
We had a good Frisbee game.
Went on a walk. Honestly, it was still freezing, so the kids brought blankets. We went around the block and that was good enough.
Spencer shared his warm Army hat with Brooke. Huge deal around here.
You know the weather is getting warmer when the owies start happening. William had one too.
Kindergartner phonetic spelling is just the best. "Gesus =Jesus"
So, we might have a Dr. Pepper problem at our house. One a day keeps the dr away apparently. We built a track for William's cars. He loved it and it kept him super busy while I was meal prepping.
