Happy Birthday Dad (September)
Hailey did volleyball again this year. She does pretty well even though she is one of the shorter players. She got the overhand serve down too.
The kids and Blake were watching a youtube video one day.
Blake's birthday came and I was sick. I felt so bad but of course, he is the best sport ever. When I was feeling better we went to Texas Roadhouse for a Spencer/Blake birthday combo. He rode the saddle while everyone sang happy birthday to him. He is so fun. I would have been so embarrassed but he does not embarrass! Blake has been such a great and supportive husband and father. He is involved with the kids and loves teaching them new things. He is so fun and funny. He loves coming up with new random projects to do and ways to improve the house. He works so hard at his job and in his church calling and doesn't complain about it. We are so lucky to have him.
Red velvet cake of course!
Our friends, the Willson's moved. Oh, sad day. They have been true friends to us and totally get us. We have missed them so much!
Monica is getting married! So happy for her. She met Ryan Little and they became friends and after many many conversations of how she was dating him, she finally believed she was and they got engaged right away. He is a wonderful guy and they are moving to Las Vegas of all places. So glad that she and the kids can have someone to watch over them.
Brooke and her imaginary injuries so she can use the cute bandaids.
Still under water! We were able to go help a woman clean out some of her flooded house. It turned out to be the kids old PE teacher. They had a great time getting rid of garbage and riding on the gator.
Hailey was sick with the flu one day so we read one of the Herdman books, which was pretty hilarious.
Stinker. Love what they learn in preschool.
Cotton candy clouds
Hailey ran for treasurer/secretary of the school. She didn't win but she is a class representative and has gotten to do some fun things with student council. Proud of her for being brave.
Spencer receiving his Wolf for Scouts. He has worked really hard and we're so proud of his work.
My friend Liz took me to this super fun side of the road pumpkin patch. I got a bunch of fun pumpkins for $20, including a giant white one that we had to roll into the garbage can at the end of the season.
Always reading
School pictures. Sure I hate paying for them but seriously they're so cute.
The kids had to test out their Halloween costumes. We sent a picture to Nanah and Papa and they loved it.
Conference bingo with Darth Vader. The kids listened pretty well this year and of course, made a big mess in our room. But we had a good time and learned some new things.
Came in William's room to find him cleaning off his fan. Which was pretty dusty. He was supposed to be in time out but this was a good use of time.
We have been cleaning out the old wood and furniture from the shed and attic from the previous owner. And burning it all! There was a lot of wood!
Spencer spent a lot of time with the hatchet breaking up the wood. He got blisters on his hands and we were pretty happy about that.
We went on our regular conference nature walk. We tried out a new spot and had a great time. The weather was perfect and we got a lot of energy out.
Climbing high in the trees
Seriously, could this area be any more beautiful??
Pajama day at school.
