August 2020

When we were driving home from dinner, the axel on Blake's car broke. A bunch of neighborhood guys came and helped him move it into the driveway.  That car has been more trouble than it's worth! But it was a funny story, for sure.
We went to the Kuna Caves. It was a great first time. It was stinky for sure going down the stairs but it was so cool down there, even with the grafitti.
Michelle is awesome, the end.

Everyone loved exploring it, except William. He was too scared to go down the stairs so we rotated with him. Paige happened to be there so I thought he would be encouraged to go down there but no go. Maybe next time!
We went to Boise Fry, our regular place to take visitors.

We floated the river for a bit and could have gone forever. Dillon wanted to go all the way to the bottom but we didn't have enough time. Next time!

We also went to the Kuna Pond and had hot dogs and floated and enjoyed the sun. These cousins are so fun! Always willing to go on an adventure.
Found a snake. Always thrilling.
We went to the capitol building.
Putting together something, I don't remember what, but grateful for the help!
Gymnastics tricks. I'm surprised these kids make it through day to day!
Funny kids

William chose his baptism picture from my parents. It's a great picture!
Best way to do chores!
Spencer is almost passing Hailey! It's always a competition!
All the stuff we grew in our garden. Learning more every year!
Brooke is a good chicken mama

Swimming at the pool is always a big hit. Saves our day!
Spencer chatting with his buddy, Garrett. They became friends as soon as we moved into the ward.
So incredible!

Blake got a deviated septum surgery to help with his respiratory infections. It was brutal for a few weeks after but he made it through! He doesn't whine about pain much but this was super hard. He has hardly had any sicknesses since and we are so grateful!
William soaking wet!
Our relief society did a bingo to connect people after covid. I won! It was fun.
We volunteered at a diaper bank. The kids had a pretty fun time. They always love getting this stuff done.
Roaring Springs fun!
Brooke and I eating crackers?
Just dance lol
Girls night in with Ben and Jerry's. The boys went camping, I believe. So, movies, shopping, ice cream, eating out, staying up late and sleeping in. It was great!

Brooke's 11th birthday breakfast!
The beginning of homeschool. I prayed about it for awhile and felt like it was the right thing to do so we ran with it. Phew, we all learned alot!
They loved playing with the human body stuff

Brooke opening gifts. She is a fun girl, lots of personality and feels lots of feelings.
So happy about her soft pillow! Brooke equals anything soft.
She has been wanting an electric scooter for a long time. She was pretty excited. She rides around the neighborhood with her friend, Amelia.
We had Super C's at the park in Kuna. It was beautiful weather. Brooke is  big fan of fried chicken.
Playing at the river, another one of her favorite things: water.
Brooke loves people. She feels their feelings. She is a great artist and very strong. She is creative and imaginative. She helps take care of William and encourages him.
Brother Bastow, our home teacher, brought Brooke some flowers and a candy for her birthday. It was really sweet and she dried the flowers.
Spray pad fun!
Found some wild raspberries by the creek

Catching baby fish. There were a lot!

Our aloe vera keeps having babies!
The sunflowers did great this year. Love seeing the perfect order of the sunflowers seeds.
Liz made me this chicken. She is so good!
They are so good with the chickens.
Watching a science presentation. Homeschool has been really interesting. We have had to think outside of the box.
Brooke had some friends over for her birthday. They played games, made homemade pizza and watched a movie.

We made these baby bundlets to decorate. It was a fun activity.
Brooke is blessed with good friends.

Hailey has her driver's license! Watch out world! Actually she is a really good driver and I appreciate having the errand runner.
