September 2020

William playing soccer. He loves it. He especially loves the running part.
We went to the park one day to enjoy the beautiful weather.
We got our first eggs! It was very exciting!
Spencer started a homeschool chess club in our back yard. It was fun to meet new people in the neighborhood.
We went camping with the Harlow family near Elko, Nevada. It was a great camping spot. A huge area and quiet. We all enjoyed it!

Played alot of games
Nate and Alec slept in the hammocks.
Rock climbing fun. Encouraging Brooke to make it to the top.

Beautiful view
Hailey went too.
And Blake.
Mary Ellen and I went on an adventure through the water and ended up soaking wet. But it was a great time.

We hiked a million switchbacks to get to Mud Lake. I was glad I was soaking wet by then.
We swam out to Mud Island, it was freezing water and had a mud fight. These people are so fun! Always up for an adventure.

I love this picture of Blake and the cool rainbow overhead.

Exhausted
We played so many fun games. This family is amazing.
William had a great time running around with friends on this huge rock most of the week.
Found a beaver dam on a hike.

William being my heater. Of course, I am fully dressed and freezing and he's in summer clothes and warm.
Spencer made friends with Shelby, the girl next to me. They ended up liking each other. Too bad she was 16! Spencer is an old soul and knows how to talk to people. They both love reading and had a lot in common. She told her mom, "If Spencer was older, I would think he would be my soulmate!" It was so cute.

Love this awesome family. They are worth all the effort!
A redo of our Florida chip bag faces

Chatting with "Nice Nancy", Chris's mom. She is a wonderful lady. When we drove up, we were a little nervous not knowing anyone besides the Harlows. She had the biggest smile and welcomed us right into the group. I asked her what her secret was for keeping her family close and she said "love them no matter what."

Just for documenting homeschool: the kids had to take quizzes to prove they were learning things.
We grew those pumpkins!
Farmers in the making

Spray pad with the Mullins, we sure love them!

Hailey and her fake baby, Tyrone (?) We had him for the weekend and he kept us all on our toes. Hailey liked it but was ready to sleep through the night again! I told her a real baby is way better, ha!

Brooke playing soccer. It was her first season and she did a good job and learned a lot.
Spencer is the supporter on the sidelines. Always has a book!
We had the Negi's over. Always so fun with them.
We were teaching Prit to bake something.
Even fake babies need to go to church.

Good looking boys with new haircuts.
Using math manipulatives in a battle.

Brooke's elective was cake making. She did a great job!

Apple orchard fun. Made a lot of applesauce.

Practicing P.E.
Disgusting, yes: but the only documentation I have of Blake's insane bloody nose. It started at work and it wouldn't stop, so Nittin called an ambulance. I couldn't go in because of covid but eventually got to pick him up and we watched him over the weekend. It turned out ok but it scared me pretty bad!

Triplets!
Playing croquet
The kids helped with a community service project cleaning up downtown Kuna.
Happy 13th birthday, Spencer! He is a great guy. He cares about people. He is always reading and learning. He answers all of our questions about history. He takes his priesthood responsibilities seriously. We love him!
Spencer is about all the board games.

He wanted cinnamon rolls for his birthday breakfast. That is a labor of love so good thing I love this kid!
A fun face and William is Spencer's sidekick.
Massive history book for the historian.
Sugar overload. Chocolate pie for dinner. Nobody was sad about that! Spencer is a good listener, willing to help and learn and a great friend.

William is learning to love reading, hallelujah!! He is so busy running and playing that reading hasn't been his favorite but he is starting to figure it out.
Egg overload and someone grouped them into colors.
Annual corn picture
We heard a weird buzzing sound and found a spider had trapped a fly in it's web. It was sick and fascinating to watch but I prefer discovery channel instead of real life.
Spencer enjoyed the science lesson this day and went above and beyond. Independent learning is awesome!
We went to a petting zoo. It was nice to get out and the kids loved hanging out with other friends.

The boys with Liam and Noah, two of their favorites.
For a surprise for Spencer's birthday, we took him to the Army base. Brother Beck from church works there so he gave us a tour. Spencer got to get in all the cool trucks.

He road in a tank. He said it was loud and stinky. But we had a great time!
Hooray, Blake's birthday! It's the end of the birthday line up. We sure love him and appreciate all the hard work he does for us. He has worked so hard to help our family be comfortable and safe. He is a positive and kind person. He will help anyone! He has a quiet testimony and shares it by word but also by action. He is also hilarious and that helps loosen things up! We love him!

Blake hates pictures but we love him, so he gets pictures!
The true story.
"light reading"
Working on science for homeschool
Book sale at the library, Spencer's favorite event. Mine too, ha!
Volunteered at the church orchard. It's always a lot of fun. Came home with all these apples. More applesauce!
