I put in for a giveaway at the bakery and won this cute gingerbread house and gift card. That was so fun!

My parents and Michelle and her kids came for Thanksgiving! It was fun to have them! We did our traditional bowling activity. We always did this growing up on Thanskgiving.

We had a white elephant party with ridiculous gifts. It was fantastic and needs to become a tradition!

Full and beautiful house and family! I love these people! So glad they made the trip. We haven't hosted our family ever!

The girls wer doing a service at someone's house and they sent me a picture. Love to see them working together!

Preparing our house for sale with my family coming for Thannksgiving was pretty wild! I worked for three weeks straight and got everything put away or given away or sold. It was exhausting! But we did it!

We went to a baptism for a woman down the road from us. She is from China and is just so happy and kind whenever she sees any of us. She wants to hug us. She is such an example of Christlike love!

William fell asleep in Hailey's swing. Usually he goes in there and it makes the girls mad but they couldn't be mad this time!

Hailey was part of a performance in a high school game with her friends. So nice to see them doing fun things after all the Covid madness! So nice to see faces!

Classic Bell boy shirts

Jon passed away on November 2, 2021 from health conditions. We knew he wasn't doing well but it is still always so sad and unexpected.  Jon has a very soft heart towards children and pets. He was happy to lay on the floor and let the kids run all around him. He loves to debate over any topic! He and Blake have so many happy childhood memories of sneaking to watch tv at night, working at a variety of jobs together, going to the bread store to get a treat. They hung out at lunch every day in high school. Jon was a big fan of video games and was good at them.

 Jon did a variety of jobs and was quite skilled at engineering and understanding things. He is very smart! He did lack some motivation/confidence to accomplish some things but we are sure he sees things better now. Jon was good at helping Sara make quilts. We know he is feeling better and hope he is able to find peace and find comfort and peace in Jesus Christ. Losing two brothers in eight years is so hard. We are glad they can be together and maybe kick each others bums but there is still a huge absence without them. We believe they are around and looking out for us and helping us. I often pray that they will be with the teenagers!

Blake's Uncle Erik looks like Santa. He always wears a red hat and kids think he is Santa. He has these cards to give to kids and William was thrilled to see him at Jon's funeral. That was a silver lining to a dark cloud. (Santa pictured below, red hat)

Blake gave his second eulogy. So hard for him to have to do twice but perfect because he knows Jon so well. It was hard but he honored Jon well.

Pre funeral suff is never fun. But the stories that come out are really special and funny and sad. We just miss our people so much!

Jon had a large collection of pocketknives. They were to be given to the grandkids and relatives. William was really proud of his knife from Jon.

So strange to be selling the house we love so much! It's a beautiful house but it was time with the troubles in the Kuna schools and the forever long drive to Micron. We just felt like it was time. We're grateful for the friends we've made in Kuna and the big house we lived in during Covid! It only took us a month or so to sell the house. Happily, we did it right befor the interest rates went from 2.7 to 7%! Such a tender mercy. We were able to use our equity to buy our "new" house and have the lower rate. Just so grateful!

We are moving masters and were able to get rid of all this stuff and a lot more. I should open a move quickly company. Ha, no.

Hailey had Bri make me this cake for my birthday. It was so sweet of her! And delicious! I am 41 years old and still feel like I am 25 at heart. I wonder if that will ever change?

Awesome Hailey painted the island in prep for the move. We both get sick of painting. But we all helped get things done. Cleaned up the baseboards. Organized and kept it clean! We left every time there was a showing and went ot the bike park or something. Always a stressful situation but grateful it worked out!
