Dyserville, IA
So, we live in middle of nowhere Iowa, which happens to be near the actual Field of Dreams field. So, we had to go out there and see what there was. Sad story, the field of dreams picture won't upload. It looks like a field. We stayed there for five minutes while the kids said it was boring. But still, cool to go there. We also went to a toy museum. Lots of historical toys. Spencer still asks to go out there.
They also had a Basilica church out there. Such a random little town with some funny things in it. The church was amazing!
Pretty river
Blake had to move the car and I loved that the kids raced back to him when they saw him. It was so cute.
We had to wait to go into the church because there was a wedding going on. So, we walked around the Main Street and found the only open place around. They had root beer floats, which was perfect because it was so hot!
The inside of the church. It was so neat to go into such an old church. I plan on going to Europe someday, so it just made me excited for that someday. There were paintings on both sides of the church depicting the life of Jesus. It made me appreciate the simplicity of our church as well.
This sums up Iowa summers. Corn and soybeans growing.
We had to document we were there
