March 2021

My friend is very talented with lettering. I love the cards I bought from her.

We went to a trampoline park for fun and Spencer couldn't do much so he did virtual reality game. He was pretty good at it! I could hardly do the office game. Coulnd't figure out how to pick up the stapler!

It always helps to run off some steam!

I had a huge pimple one day. It hurt.

Another round of Wagons Ho! It never gets old.
Brooke's report on chickens. Chickens forever! She is really good at these presentations.
Brooke just looks so happy here.

Hailey made this cake for fun.  Such a darling frog!
Caught a picture of Spencer doing his debate for the co op.
Found Jessica's art at Hobby Lobby. Always so fun to see her art around!
Bricknolwedgy is the boy's favorite store! It is pretty amazing to see all the sets put together and some old legos.

The girls love them too.

Lego building party!

Brooke at Amelia's birthday party.

5K for RJ still going strong
Shadow puppets one day.
We were grinding wheat one day and the flour dust was pretty strong!
Spencer fits in this cabinet, almost!
William and Liam playing ping pong at the co-op during lunch.
A good hike with some good friends. Sunshine is the best medicine!

Grateful for the adventures we have together!opl

Pretty color organized eggs!

My college friend, Cindy, was in town and we were able to get together and go on a long walk! She was dropping her daughter off at college. We had a great time catching up. I have known her since I was 19. We met in the dorms, then ended up in the same wards and had kids at the same time. Grateful for our friendship! She teaches me so much!
We made this kefir drink which turned into alcoholic apple juice. Spencer thought that was pretty hilarious!
One of Brooke's school electives was cake making. Our friend, Bri, taught us how to make this beautiful and delicious cake! It was great fun!

William completed a math elective at the co-op. It was one of his favorites! We're glad we found this co-op. It is some extra work and we are pretty exhausted at the end of the day but the kids have had a great time getting to know new friends and learning new things
My friend, Lindsey, came and spoke about making a difference in Guatemala with angel gowns and finding your purpose. It was a great lesson! I have loved having these gatherings at our house. I am blessed to know so many amazing people.

Snack packs for our road trip. This has been a lifesaver! It's so nice to have the kids be in charge of their own snacks!
We went to Moab for Spring Break. It was the closest place to us with sunshine!
Spencer ate his meal. Then ate a bunch of our leftovers. He was a bit full after and might have regretted it a little bit. He is a garbage disposal!
Moab was beautiful! Lots of unique things we havne't seen yet.

It was fun to be able to get out of town for a bit and enjoy our family without having to have a homeschool schedule. There were only a few grumpy teen moments. I say that's a win!
Super happy to take a picture with me. Blake looks happy about it!

Grateful for all our adventures!

Made it to the arches! So amazing that they stay standing after so much time and erosion. Just incredible!

Jesus is quite an amazing artist.
William and Spence: always together!
Spence was just hanging out up there looking so peaceful. I love his love of nature!

I love these people!

Love seeing these two get along!
This book was humongous and old!
We found an actual payphone! Haven't seen one of these for years. It was fun for us all! Had to tell the kids about needing a quarter or having to find a payphone when we were younger.

We drove over to Canyonlands too. It was a little terrifying to see how deep they were and have the kids there but we made it out alive! Just incredible to see the way the land is formed!

Best buds
William's little binoculars were pretty popular!

Some pretty cool rocks!
Love that William is wearing his favorite color in his favorite color!

So much variety found in the desert.
We got to see the largest watermelon in the world! Big moment for us!

Spence and I had a nice historical chat while everyone else swam.  Kind of frustrating to be at a climbing/swimming place with a cast on but he was a good sport. He knows so much!
Don't ask me why my head is like this. Saved it for fun.

We stopped in Provo to see the beautiful Provo temple. It really is fantastic. I am excited to go inside someday!

It's the temple but they're still kids! I am sure The Lord appreciates it!

Stopped for some humongous ice creams. Yikes but they were happy! Spencer was not interested. He is more savory.
We went to the Dealba's skateboard shop. It was so fun to design our own board. We loved catching up with them. They are such good people and so inspiring with their entrepreneurial ways.
Got some swag
William had a great time playing blocks with their little son. Spencer is always so good with the little ones.

Balke and Mario made friends quickly in Cedar Falls and it was so fun to see them reunite.
They have art to do while the kids are waiting. They are such a good team!
Thought this was a pretty mailbox.

Stopped in and met up with Blake's cousin Kate and his Uncle Blake. It was fun to catch up with them! They spent so much time together when Blake was younger. Jim wrote a book that he gave us.

Best friend cousin!

Had a nice walk with them after!
Modeling the swag
I love this man!
After our busy day, we stayed at Jake and Barbara's. Such a fun reunion! We always laugh so much.

Right before we left, Hailey was backing the van out onto the street and accidentally ran into the mailbox.  It shattered the back windows and scared the crap out of Hailey. Happily, the only death was the mailbox. So, Hailey will fix the windows and the mailbox. Lesson learned! And pretty hilarious when we talk about it now.

The missionaries are big fans  of the chickens. Always fun to send a picture to missionary moms!

Spencer helped build this arch. It was kind of annoying for both of us but we did it!
Hailey brought home some painting cookies from work and we had a good time with them. Perks to working at the bakery!
Got these garden boxes for cheap and everyone helped fill them. Grateful for good helpers! Spencer really can do so much with that broken wrist!
A few new chickens to replace the ones we lost.

Just a picture of stuff to bake/make during the day.
The maps are always a big hit!
Happy 9th birthday William! German pancake for breakfast! He is such a delightful boy. Always up for new things and loves the color red! He is wild and energetic and always makes silly faces. He loves reading books and riding his bike.
Everyone helps build the birthday legos.
Spence came with me on my morning run. He is faster than I am. Big Surprise!
At last, the cast is removed! We had to wait in the waiting room for a while so we had a good time watching clips from The Office. Spencer's laugh is pretty awesome.
His arm was a little funky but it healed! No more grocery bags in the shower.
Making William's birthday cake. Grateful for Brooke's help! He loves chocolate! Chocolate frosting and chocolate cake! William loves playing games and hanging out with his siblings. He loves legos! He is a kind person and looks out for other people.
Long awaited space legos set. William has recently gotten into outer space and this is such a cool lego set. He is such an inventive kid and loves to snuggle. He works hard to help people. We are so grateful he is in our family!
Naturally, he wanted a bird nest cake.
Culver's for dinner!

Musical underwear card. A big hit!
Binoculars for the adventurer in him.
Spencer has pretty much taught him everything he knows about legos.

We love William!!! He has worked especially hard on his reading this year and it has made a big difference for his confidence and curiosity.

Grandpa Bell stopped by and the kids had to show him all the legos and all the chickens.
