Happy Birthday William and Easter (March/April 2018)
Spencer had to do a big chunk of a project at home for school. He worked so hard and didn't stop until he was done. I was proud of him because sitting still typing is not his favorite thing to do.
Fun with colored beads.
An organized bookcase is a happy bookcase. Now to read them all!
William helped me plant a bunch of plants one day. They did semi ok. It was nice to have a buddy helping me.
The cabinets half painted. This was one heck of a project!
Brooke loves these guinea pigs (and torturing them too)
Brother Tanner was such a great scout leader, so patient and nice to the boys. Spencer got another scout award. He works hard.
I should not be allowed to go to the used bookstore.
Nothing like snow in April!
I needed something cheery.
For Scouts, Spencer had to listen and be guided to make a peanut butter sandwich.
I was asked/forced to be in a talent show for our ward. It was terrifying but worth doing.
Horse daddy. That can't be comfortable on the knees!
The boys have turned my Christmas house display into an Army guy fortress.
One day I put my shirt on backwards. Some days are like that.
We might not be able to see the full sunset but it is nice to see part of it through our kitchen window.
Our plant starts have done pretty well!
Easter bags from Nana.
Brooke's new shirt matches her personality perfectly.
William's sixth birthday! He wanted pancakes. We love his fun and funny personality.
Hailey came to work with me at Barn Happy one day because she was off of school. She ended up being a huge help and was asked to come back again.
William asked for cheerios for his birthday dinner. It made me so happy! He is a loving and sweet boy. He loves playing with legos, trucks, and messing around with his siblings. He is quick to hug and snuggle. He loves going to church and reading books. We are so glad he is in our family.
Spencer worked hard on these flags at school. Long live his love of flags!
Easter egg hunt with friends at the park.
Easter morning.
William opening presents.
The most exciting thing was a new RED bike! He loves red. The kids made him a scavenger hunt and he was so happy.
Dying eggs is always a big hit. It's getting less messy as they get older and they are more creative.
Blake and I went on a quick date to a healthy food place that was so good. The sparkling water, not so much.
Hailey made William's cake this year. He wanted a train cake and this one was pretty creative.
Spencer is such a sweet brother.
Sugar cube temples
Trying out the new bike!
Spencer spending a lot of time coloring a Book of Mormon book.
Even big girls like to play trucks and sand.
Shenanigans with boxes. They are a creative duo!
The annual burning of the junk that we cleaned out of our house.
A BIG piece of coffee cake for conference.
Spencer chilling by the fire. He says he is going to be a mountain man but I think he is too adorable to be a mountain man.
This thing is mesmerizing.
Hooray for awesome french salt!
Proof that you can pack a dishwasher without an inch of space left!
Hailey's feet are almost as big as mine. What?!
Monica and Ryan had baby Bryson and he is just darling.
Blake doing a candle experiment with the kids.
Yummy! Grandma Jo's rolls are the best.
