Summer fun! (June)

We went to get new glasses for Hailey and Spencer and Brooke was so cute in these.  She doesn't need glasses but it's good to know she'll be adorable in them!

Hailey and Spencer thought they were hilarious in these glasses.  They kept saying, "We're police, da da da."

Found this hydrangea for $10.  If I knew how wonderful it would look, I would have bought a lot more!  It is now planted in our front yard.

I think we have found five thermometers in this house!  The man who lived here for sixty years seemed to be a do it yourselfer.  It has been fun to find all these things.

Blake had to work late one night, so Hailey came in bed with me. We had a pretty fun time taking silly pictures and reading with a treat.  She is a great girl.

Brooke had to have a cavity filled sadly and Hailey read to her while she was resting afterward.  It was really nice to have her help.

Swimming and floating

Made this crazy desert on a rainy day.  It was so sweet but it was a fun project.

William just loves strawberries and especially with cream.

We did a little paint project out front one day.

The kids made these houses out of the moving boxes and they had been in the corner of the garage unused. I tried to get rid of them but the kids boycotted it.  Brooke got super annoyed because she didn't want to stand in William's box.  They saved the boxes.

We were watching the Tidwells and Brooke was a huge help with their baby, Jane.  She sure loves babies!

We have had this bookcase for 13 years.  Blake's brother, Ryan made it for us.  I have always wanted to paint it or stain it but Blake wasn't loving the idea.  I finally painted it white.

After the floor was finished!

The Freestones from church live down the street from us. We visited them one night and their amazing garden!  The next morning, he brought by these delicious cherries.  So nice!
