Happy12th birthday Hailey! (February)

The exciting 100 day of school. This is a big deal!
All my breakfast helpers.
Blake has been awesome to snow blow a bunch of our neighbors driveways. Our neighbor Tom tried to give us money (um, no) and this card that we thought was pretty funny.
Washing the guinea pigs in the sink.
My dad sent this hilarious picture for some reason.
Since we've moved into this house, they have worked on our street twice and cleaned a fallen tree from our yard. Every time this happens, the kids spend a huge amount of time watching the workers.
Hailey was getting braces so she got to have her own bag of last salt and vinegar chips.
Crazy hair day. Brooke hates doing it because she feels embarrassed.
We made these cupcakes for Hailey's birthday for her class.
We stopped for ice cream for Hailey's birthday.
Playing air hockey at the YMCA
Can't believe how fast 12 years goes!! We loved celebrating Hailey.
She loves cooking and baking so some baking supplies in her favorite color. She is always willing to bake things for activities or when I get short on time.
Hailey also loves art. She wanted some art canvases and paints. She is a talented girl!
And of course make up time! She used it for a little bit but isn't much of a make up girl. Sometimes the idea of something is more fun than the doing of it!
Hailey was able to get her temple recommend for baptism for the dead. She wanted to go right away so that was part of her birthday gift.
The Young Women at church came and left cute messages on our door to welcome Hailey to the beehive group. She felt so special.
While Hailey got braces put on, I got to sit in a heated massage dentist chair and read my book. I think I got the better end of the deal.
Braces. The saddest part for her was not getting to eat carrots, chips or snickers.
William wanted to have his buddies Cort and James over. They had a great time!
Hailey and I went to the temple for her first time. She really liked it. The temple president talked to her and he was impressed that she had come three days after her 12th birthday.
We stayed at the hotel in Nauvoo for Hailey's birthday and had her birthday cake and dinner there. It was fun.
The kids loved staying in the bunk beds even though we have them at home!
We went on a walk one day because it was decent weather. The kids love going down by the stream by the hotel.
We played Scrabble one night.
The kids love the penny squashing machine.
Blake got strep while we were there so we went to the park to get out of the hotel for a bit. We had never gone to this park with old trains. William was in heaven. Then we got trapped by a crossing train for 15 minutes!
Had an impromptu photo shoot at the park.
William helped make Hailey's birthday dinner, waffles. It was a fun dinner.
The Pences were at the hotel near us and came over to say hi. William fell asleep on Sidney's shoulder. So cute. He has always liked her.
Teaching William the fine art of peeing without peeing on your pants.
We went to a suspension bridge on the way home. It's called Lover's Leap bridge and it was a pretty fun stop!
