Summer Fun (July 2018)



I think this is when we went with the Tidwells somewhere but I can't remember, darn it!
We went to a really fun park one day that had a swing zipline thing. We stayed for as long as the humidity would let us!
Barn Happy was very crowded one day so we got special treatment and ate in the corn crib. 
Brooke and Addi playing dress up one day. They are such great friends. I love it.
Hailey saved up her money and bought hermit crabs and supplies. It's been fun. We've gone through a few as they are hermits and we can't tell whether or not they are alive.
The never ending cabinet painting project got some help from the kids. They're pretty good at DIY!

We went to a baseball game. It's fun to cheer on the team and if the kids can make it till halfway through, they get a treat. Baseball always makes me feel so patriotic and summery.
Cooking has been one of my favorite things to do with the kids. I love that you are never too young (or old) to help out in the kitchen. Plus, there is lots of good talk time.
Sadie came with us on our adventures one day.

We went to my friend, Sarah's, farm from Barn Happy one day. Her house is 100 years old farmhouse and she had it remodeled. She's repurposed a lot of old items and it was amazing to see her creativity. Her gardens are huge, flower and vegetable. It was great to be in the country. The downside was me stepping on an electrified fence wire. The upside was everything else!
I think the kids were taking apart the broken vacuum.
Young womens was cancelled one night, so the girls came over for a tea party. It was fun to have them.
Bike ride to the library. They kicked butt. About five miles.
Scratch cupcake! Our favorite.

Apparently, kissing guinea pigs is a thing.
I think Brooke had a sleepover with me one night.
We all jumped off the high dive one day. It was terrifying. lol It took me a long time to do it.

Brookey Brooke

Brooke Eileen Bell was born Aug 24th at 11:11 pm. 7 lbs, 15 oz, 20 inches.....and tons of great black hair!! Heres the story for all you interested people. I had cleaned the house all day and played with the kids. Was about to make dinner around 4 and started to feel a little weird and crampy, but didn't think much about it. Around 5, I was making chocolate chip waffles for dinner and realized the contractions had gone on for an hour and were about 3 minutes apart now. Called Blake and said I might be in labor, but don't worry, it would probably go away. Kept making waffles...called my mom and told her I was probably in labor. Blake got home, left for hospital around 6. We went to the ER and they said go to labor and delivery. Around 630, I was at a 4. Got all set up on IV and by the time epidural came around 830, I was at a 6. Moved to a 10 pretty fast after. Pushed a few times and there she was!! A Slew of Pictures.......

6 months and counting....I am happy I don't have to have another baby shower and be measured to see how big my belly is!! I love red hair that can do anything! The First Ever Painted Bell Wall...thanks to Blake's brother Spencer. It turned out just like I wanted! Thanks! Spencer came to visit for a week and sadly this is about the only picture I got of the Spencers. Bummer! Hailey and Nolan, my sister's baby! He is such a cutie! My adorable grandpa Terry who turned 80 this month. What happens when you turn your back for 10 minutes to talk to a friend on the phone. Duh! Dillon came to play and this was just too cute! Spencer's usual face... Washing the car=an hour of fun and very tired kids=long nap for kids and a break for mom I found a website of creative snack ideas for kids. This actually made the kids eat vegetables and like them too!
