Merry Christmas (December)
Santa showed up so that was good. The kids had been good enough this year.
All Brooke wanted for Christmas was a jumping frogs game and a slinky. She is so easy. It was fun to see her excitement. She won't let any of us play the game though. ha
Blake got a flashlight from his dad and a lantern. It's awesome because that is a true Bell boy gift.
Spencer got a great Lego Star Wars set. He is being a bum about putting it together because it will take forever but we are going to defeat it.
William got his trains and they are motorized. He was so thrilled.
The kids all got giant teddy bears. They use them every night, even the boys, who usually don't use stuffed animals.
Light up globe for Spencer. He loves learning about the world.
Santa also brought guinea pigs. Crazy man. They are named Maple and Oreo. The kids have loved them and do a pretty good job taking care of them.
We had our regular breakfast with waffles and ice cream. And now that I have Papa Bell's waffle recipe, it is perfect!
Figuring out the trains. It takes a lot of focus.
Matching nightgowns for the girls. We watched movies downstairs and even got to take some naps. We played a few new games and it was a quiet and peaceful Christmas. I think it was our best one. But every year gets better and better.
Brooke loves sticker books. She was in craft heaven for a few weeks.
Getting used to the guinea pigs. Maple jumped out of Hailey's arms and ran and hid under the chair. Then she ran into the game closet. That thing was fast! Blake caught her, thank goodness.
And for an end of Christmas funny, I found the maid from Clue beheaded on the counter. I guess we solved the mystery.
